We're all well aware that LSU is the first 2 loss team to get into the BCS national championship game, and will be the first 2 time winner of the cyrstal ball (if we win), but if LSU wins they will be the first team to ever sit at the #1 spot three different times in one season. :geaux:
I didn't look up the stats but Jimmy Ott said that LSU not only the only team with 2 losses to make it to the BCSNC but the 1st team in the history of college football polls to make it the the NC game.
Since the inception of College Football polls, not just the BCS rankings, LSU is the 1st team to make it to the national championship with 2 losses.:thumb:
