1. I believe I read some where a few months ago that he disliked them for some reason, and I haven't been able to find that article since.
  2. Well, he was a USA Today High School All-American coming out of Assumption HS, so maybe they didn't offer him a schollie and he's bitter about it. So he went to Southern Illinois. That is pure speculation on my part, btw.
  3. send me some turbo dog and i'll find it for you.

:milesmic: :LSU231: :geauxtige :crystal: :crystal: :crystal:
  4. As the No.1 JUCO prospect, he signed with Auburn and was 3rd team halfback on the depth chart behind RB and Carnell W. before splittin for SI. Nuff reason? Signing with AU?
  5. Understand he was strong lean to LSU but Tubby Shanghaied him. Was just interested in getting into pro ball as fast as he could so left Auburn rather than sit on the bench behiand Cadillac. He could have been a star in the right college system.

  6. Reppin Assumption High!!

i went to high school with Toby (Brandon Jacobs). He was recruited by LSU, but he wanted to play RB, and LSU was only going to let him play D.
  7. Wups!

Man! Our recruiting/evaluating of players/talent was freak'n HORRIBLE in the '90's wasn't it????

Not sure what year he (and yourself) graduated, but if you think about all the players that LSU "missed", you could come up with a VERY talented team....
  8. No doubt. I think the biggest name you can add to the list from that time period is Marshall Faulk. Sheesh. Why in the hell would you want to make him a DB? Can you imagine if we'd signed him and let him play his natural position?
  9. I think he originally signed with LSU but had to go the JUCO route and ended up signing with AU after that. Many LSU fans saw him as a traitor and he felt he was treated as such.

  10. we're National Champs, who gives a chit?:hihi:
