We beat Auburn 12-6 in 1995 when they were ranked #3 in the country ("Bring Back the Magic Game" or the "Jamie Howard redemption game"). It was my first game as a student and still one of my all-time favorites. Maybe you were thinking of the 1993 season, I've tried to forget the entire early 90's. We lost the game against Florida in 1995 28-10 (I think) when Kennison had that punt return called back. That was also my first year as a student and we decided it would be most efficient to stay up all night because of the 11:30 start. By the time the game was over, we were too. I predicted Kennison would return a punt for a TD and LSU would win during our all-night party. I don't think I've ever picked LSU to lose so I've been doing better with my picks this year.
My last game in TS was '86 vs. Georgia. Tigers won, 23-14, I believe. I did manage to make the Cotton Bowl last year, however.
Never been to Tiger stadium, been to 5 LSU games, but never made the trip to LA. Hoping to go this year for a game, probably the Ole Miss game, unless we get a decent opponent to play on Labor Day weekend. They're 4-1 in the games that I've been to, hoping to make it 5-1 on Jan. 4!!!
