Okay, so I haven't been to a baseball game at Alex Box since probably 2004 (since school took up much of my time; I took my last final EVER this morning, so now I'll have more free time, though ). I have to say that the team looks a lot better and the overall experience at the box is pretty fun now. I guess the combination of winning and the last hurrah for the box is a nice combination. I heart LSU.

 

When I can't listen to the game for whatever reason I always check TF for updates. So, thanks.

 

You are lucky enough to go to one of the last games at the Box and this is all you got for us. Come on spill the beans. Tell us how exciting it was. No really, congrats on getting to have one of the final experiences in a place of such great memories. I hope that you had a great time.:thumb:

 

Okay. The team played like they were possessed. The experience was great. Having Skip there watching Manieri take down the #2 and put up the number 1 on the games left at the box sign was exciting. The stadium was packed and the crowd was into it. The panoramic picture of the box that they gave out after the game looks awesome. Home runs, home runs, home runs! I sat behind some Moo U fans that thought highly of the history of the Box and made sure to get some posters of the stadium on their way out. Overall: great time to be had, but sad to see the stadium and its history go.
