Because they don't want the students and faculty driving in tropical storm winds this afternoon. The winds will have died down considerably by tomorrow.

LSU AgCenter closed @ 12 but i'm still here. I don't want to sit in traffic. I think more people here are freaking out about this storm than the seem to be in Texas

 

Did you see the lines at the gas stations last night? Geez!

 

I went to LSU in the 70's and the AgCenter was referred to as the Cow Palace. Lately I've seen it called the Swine Palace. What's up with that?
