You know, they must have some way to read emails before they are sent, because I tried to email the editors how disgusted I was and what do you know, I encountered an error. What a terrible magazine.
Yeh I tried to email them as well... I think people in Louisiana and south in general should start a drive to cancel their subscription if they have one, and let these people know its not fair to what those kids accomplished and what LSU fans have been a part of.... Sporting News should not get off scott free on this.
The pandering to USC is completely driven by the fact that there are more people to buy subscriptions and sell advertising to in southern California than there are in Louisiana. This should not surprise anyone, but it also should not be viewed as anything approximating a credible assessement of who should be considered to be the national champion. TSN is simply counting noses and telling a large number of existing and prospective customers what they want to hear, even at the risk of offending a much smaller number of customers.
I think I'm going to box up all of my back issues and send them to The Sporting News with a nice big ol' turd on top... I'm gonna flip if I get that damned magazine in my mail box this week!
I don't begrudge USC anything. What irks me is that the assclowns in the media begrudge LSU their share of the championship. A "split title" doesn't taint what either team accomplished, but people like Trev Alberts and Kirk Herbstreit seem desperate to put an asterisk on what LSU's players worked hard to EARN.
The editor's email is the only one not working. I was able to use the other email they list on their home page. I'm sure they'll "enjoy" (sarcasm) reading my email.
Words can't describe how Pi$$ed I am about this! So I won't say anything to protect the children that may be on this forum.
i think i might call them and let them know how upset i really am....then tell them they can stop sendin me their magazines cuz i dont want it no more......that is SO AGGRAVATING!!!!
