I love all these guys n gals who are mentioned, but I gotta put Cholly Mac up top. Pistol Pete for sure. Cannon no doubt. Bert Jones was the best. Tittle there too. Jimmy Taylor was a hoss. Cassanova was amazing. Dalton was as good as they come. Dale Brown was the ultimate motivator. Shaq was bigger than life. Cholly Mac was just one of us. He coached our team for a long time. We never won it all, but we always played with pride. He was the first student of Bear Bryant to beat him on the field. I was at that game. Many of you today may not understand what it meant to beat Bear Bryant. All I can tell you is to take beating Saban and multiply by 1000.
