Hey, look at that. A mid-week series. And against Harvard of all schools. Harvard is (ouch) 1-7 and Ivy League play has yet to begin. They are currently on a tour of the south having played JSU, UAB, and the lowly Gents of Centenary. Their only win was against the Gents, which they followed by giving up 42 hits in a double header the next day. They have a long week with ULM monday, LSU tues-wed, UNO thursday, then they open conference play in New York on Saturday. Talk about jet lag. Should be a great time to tune-up our batting issues :wave: That is if these games are even played, A large, slow front has already moved into the state and could washout the whole week (maybe the ole miss series too) Tues, 6:30 radio, TV!!! Mainieri said they have one quality pitcher they will be throwing against us, didnt say a name but said dean played with him over the summer and said he was nasty......still dont see them touching us and I really hope we get to play these two games. :geaux:
Last Harvard player we had grace the fields of LSU decided it was too much and went back home. Yes it was football not baseball, but none the less the Harvard boy couldn't hang with the competition of the Tigers. I think we will send them home very scared.

Had he started all the games after that Auburn game, LSU might have gone 3-9. In all seriousness, 5-6.
if he could have started against LSU's defense last year, he may have thrown for 500 yards and ran for 400 more.
