Trailblazers back when Drexler was there and Orlando until the Hornets came to New Orleans. Really the Bulls only ousted the Magic once, in Eastern conference finals the Bulls swept 'em. I had a couple friends who were "die-hard" Bulls fans, but barely knew anyone on the team aside from Pippen & Jordan. Lets just say it was enough to always make my favorite team whichever one that was playing against the Bulls. It was fun times watching and we enjoyed the games a lot back then. I probably didn't enjoy watching MJ play as much as most though because of rooting against the Bulls.
I thought 23 got away with a little bit of a push-off on the play, but it's not like they call that with 1 second on the clock and what a shot! As my friend described it, "A Gatorade commercial 10 years down the road." But I was amazed at the officials last night...Traveling on Lebron, what has the league come to?
I loved watchin Jordan and the bulls back in the day. Like you though, I even appreciate Jordan more now. His will to win was second to none. Never have i seen a player literally take a game over and will his team to victory like MJ did. Plus he got the utmost out of his teammates. Players like Bill Winington, Steve Kerr, John Paxson, Craig Hodges, Cliff Levingston, and Stacy King to name a few had there best years as pros while playing with MJ. Even the great Scottie Pippen didn't have much of a career after MJ. MJ made his teammates better and that's the mark of a GREAT player. I honestly don't think we will ever see another MJ, but LeBron is by far the closest to MJ. He plays for the love of the game and obviously he makes his teammates better. And that shot the other night did remind me of MJ. LJ's a great individual and he deserves all the success in the world.
Because of the big difference ini years it's difficult to compare players from different eras. However, MJ made everyone around him better. Don't think I can say the same for LJ at this point in his career. MJ definitely had more talent to work with.
Excuse the interruption but on Wednesday I was at O'Hare baggage claim and I saw Yao Ming waiting for his luggage. Man, that's a tall Chinaman.
