not surprising. those types of things seem to show up in places he coaches.
  3. Re: Memphis men's basketball program has been charged by the NCAA with major violatio

Bad thing is he knew about this before he left Memphis so he probably was going anyways. I wonder would they apply some infractions to him eventhough he's at Kentucky like they did Kelvin Sampson .

Calipari is slick. He doesnt have his hands on or near any of the things that happen around him. He's like the mafia boss who never talks on the phone or to anyone who could finger him.

Sadly, this situation just scratches the surface of what goes on in the entire pre-professional basketball arena. The AAU advisers, high school recruiting process, the one and done rule, etc. are examples of something terribly wrong in basketball.

  7. Re: Memphis men's basketball program has been charged by the NCAA with major violatio

The just said on "The Herd" that the SAT fraudster was Derek Rose and that the associate who received the meals, hotel rooms, etc. was his brother....
  8. Re: Memphis men's basketball program has been charged by the NCAA with major violatio

Again, this perfectly illustrates the problems with the one and done rule in college basketball. Rose was always going to be a one year player then jump to the NBA. Everyone involved in his fraud knew it would take a while to get caught, if he got caught. Rose could give a ****t about it because he got a huge contract.
