I'm all giddy thinking about it as well, our only weakness at the moment is having a QB with experience to get the ball to them. I'm not saying doomesday or anything.... I'm just saying that it might not be all great for a little while until the QB and the wide outs get more experience. I hope I'm wrong
Even if all of our QBs turn out to be rag armed gnomes, they will still have to cover them all..which will open up 2nd level of the field for JV and the RB core.
Even if Marcus Randall is beat out by the one of the two freshman QBs, I have four words: Tommy Hodson, Herb Tyler.
Jimbo's gonna be flipping the coin... Heads, we pound 'em with the run. Tails, we go deep... Get ready for some fireworks next year. This offense may surpass any offense that LSU has ever had. There are just too many weapons to go to.
And don't forget David Jones, who did very nicely in the Sugar Bowl! I just hope we can make up for Peterman, Reed, and Mauck.
i don't know about ya'll but i get nervous looking at all this talent and wondering how we are gonna keep them all happy. don't get me wrong, it is awesome, but how do you implement all of them into the game plan so as to keep them from wanting to leave and go somewhere they can be in the spotlight. the 2 qb's especially, however i think jamarcus could be scarry good in due time, maybe even immediately!
enough good WR's we could throw the ball every single play.. and with Vincent, Addi, Brousard, Edwards. we could run it every single play
