Not a bad post, TC. As far as a player that has improved...I nominate Jordan Jefferson to the list. At the beginning of the season, he looked like he was so afraid to throw an interception, that he held the ball too long, dropped back too far, etc. By the Alabama game, he was zipping the ball pretty good there. By Ole Miss, he was throwing the ball hard into tight coverages successfully. I think Lafell dropped some because he was surprised the ball was even there. I noticed the same thing against Arkansas. He was really zipping it successfully into tight coverages. Did anyone else notice that? I don't watch the games analytically...I follow the ball, cheer and hope. But now, I'm left with the impression that he'll be something special the next couple of years.
He did have confidence in himself and his receivers as the year went on. His numbers might not have been great, but neither were Flynn's in the :crystal: season (averaged anywhere from 156-180 yards a game) but JJ's leadership ability is growing also. I think his difficulties will be smoothed out for the bowl game, and he should play very well come next season. After that, hope he stays for his senior year:geaux:
You could tell because he wasn't trying to be the hero and do it all himself by then. Those first few games, he had happy feet and looked like he was too afraid that he'd end up like Lee.
