I have a degree in Social Science from Chapman University, and a minor in History. I grew up in Baton Rouge La, and Denham Springs, and been a avid LSU Tiger fan since the Charlie Mac days. I graduated from Lee High School back in 1985. I went to LSU from 1985-87 when Arnparger was the coach and when Archer was coaching too. I still remember the day when Coach Bo Rein died in the plane crash, amazing coach indeed. I letter in track, football and cross country at Denham Springs High. After becoming a Christian in 1985, I attended LSU a few years, school didn't work out too well, so I started working graveyards at 7-eleven which totaled to 3.5 years. I got a chance to move to Northern California and pick up my schooling. I worked a bunch of waitering jobs, and continue going to school at College of Alameda where the Golden State Warriors hold their practices until this day. I got a chance to tryout for 3 ABA teams on the west coast, and played semi- pro basketball in summer leagues in Northern California, against likes of Jason Kidd, Garry Payton and Brian Shaw, also I tried out for the LA Pro-Am Summer league as well. I grew up learning to play basketball in Denham Springs where I would go shoot all day in my backyard, where there was not too much to do after high school, also I used to play alot at Glen Oaks at the local parks back in 1984. I got a chance to run a lot of distance in high school and had pretty good times in the mile and 3 mile races, once I made my way out to the Bay Area, the weather was a lot better and cooler, you could run year around, I would run 5k and 10k races, and my 10k times were usely 34:35 times. Running was a lot of fun and helped me with my endurance in basketball and other sports. I spent 12 years in the Bay Area before moving to D.C. for 1 year, and should of been working in the World Trade Center on the 51st floor but I showed up late for the interview that was July 2001. I remember relocating to Palm Springs after trying out for the LA Pro-am summer league in 2001, and stayed in the desert. I lived in the Rancho Mirage and palm desert area for 10 years and I learned how to play golf, which I was driving and putting pretty well. My home golf course was the Rancho Las Palnas Country Club, it was lots of fun to golf out there. I got a chance to caddy for different tournaments and got to caddy for the Chicago Bears Legend Dick Butkus.during the Frank Sinatra Golf Tournament. I worked for Verizon Communications for 6 years, and started a website called dailycollegefootball.com, then I moved to Chicago and lived there for two years covering Elmhust College Football a division 3 school. I covered high school football as well in the West Suburbs in Chicago.,York High School. I got a chance to meet and talk to Norte Dame Football media department and also the LSU Football media department as well. I had a choice to cover either school back in 2012, so I chose to come back to my hometown Baton Rouge, and cover LSU Football on the sidelines as a photographer from 2013 to 2015. It's been a fun ride covering LSU Football.I been in Houston Texas for the 2017 year for about 8 months ubering, and pursuing a teaching job.and started another site called sportsguychat.com. I am back in Baton Rouge again, it's nice to be back home.
