This is quite a feat for any college football team, and has never happened in LSU History. Wins over previously ranked #2 & #3 ranked teams and 4 other Top 25 ranked teams. The closest team to 2011 LSU, was the LSU 2007 BCS & AP Championship Team, with Wins over 5 ranked teams, but 1 Loss (#18 Kentucky) through 9 games. They would end up defeating 7 ranked teams in 14 games. LSU 2003 BCS Championship Team, defeated 5 ranked teams, in 14 games.
I think if the team reaches their "goal" they would have defeated 9 ranked teams, which includes two teams ranked 2nd and the then #3 Oregon...pretty crazy
So if we run the table this 2011 Team will be: 14-0 Defeating 9 Ranked Top 25 teams in ONE SEASON! Damn strong football team!
