1. That's pretty crazy.
  2. Its because his teams play down (or are coached down) to the competition and end up in close ones..
  3. I would agree one of the absolute worst things about a Les Miles team is not putting the other team away.

    Case in point.

Up 20-10 with 3rd and a short 2 at about our 20 with 5 minutes to go in the half, we run the most obvious run play in the world (because Les still thinks we have a dominating O-line that can run block against any obstacle), and get stopped of course. We should have taken that drive all the way running the first half clock out.

We could have been up 27-10 or even 31-10 at the half (the 1st and goal at the 1 settling for a FG against that defense was unacceptable).
  4. But I have to say, our boys don't get nervous in tight games, not this year at least. That has and will definitely serve us well.

  5. That's for sure. I usually don't agree with the CBS crew, but Tony Barnhart summed it up quite well by calling us "unflappable." Wow!

    :geauxtige
  6. They have more poise than I do.
  7. It's always on the bag, Miles is just a drama queen
  8. It is indeed a two edged sword. It's great that the team doesn't quit and plays to the final whistle of every game and comes back from behind. It absolutely sucks that the team is far too often down to some pretty weak opponents sometimes that shouda coulda been put away in the first half. I see it as a wash and won't consider it good nor bad.
  9. Les Miles has entertained and taken years off of my life at the same time. Always dramatic.
