    ROAD TRIP!!

I am making my first trip to Death Valley this weekend for the Auburn game. I am looking for insight on where to be before and after the game. We are heading over from Houston and should be in Baton Rouge around 1:30pm. Where is the best place to party and take in the game day atmosphere? What about alcohol in the stadium? Is security strict on bringin' flasks, etc. initial thinkin' is it must be pretty lenient with the party image LSU has.

Thanks in advance, and GEAUX TIGERS!!!

1:30? You will be late. Good luck parking. My opinion on the best tailgating is near the nadatorium. There's a large grass lot where lots of fans tailgate. If you get there after lunch, you won't be able to park there. You'll have to park further away and walk.
As long as you don't walk in with the alcohol, you should be alright.
You picked a great game for your first one.

1:30 is late? kickoff is at 6:45 right? What are the best sports bars and best places to eat? I am a Red Raider and want to catch the Texas Tech / Mizzou game after we leave Death Valley. Are there any traditions, etc I need to make sure I check out while on campus?

Yeah, we're kinda obsessed. With this being such a big game you better be on campus before noon if you want a decent parking spot.

    BR Eats

I recommend the Chimes. It's a leisurely ten minute walk from Tiger Stadium. You will probably have to wait about 30 minutes to be seated.
