Sorry Guys. I was wearing my lucky 2003 shirt instead of my lucky shirt for this year. At halftime i went and switched my White LSU shirt to my lucky Purple LSU shirt for this year. I wasnt thinking. Guess which game i didnt wear my purple shirt for ? Tennessee !!! I dont know why it matters but the tigers like me better dressed in my Purple shirt this year. That 2003 shirt must have used up all the magic it had.
I take the blame as well. I wore a black t-shirt every game this year except for the Tenn game. For this game, I wore my 2003 champion shirt. I ripped it off at half time and put on my trusted black t-shirt. The rest is history.
i take some blame too....i didnt have my purple geaux tigers flag flying above my house as usual.....it was up in full force by the end of the third quarter...
I also must confess and take my share of the blame. I didn't put on my lucky LSU v Auburn 2001 shrit until halftime. This is the same shirt that I also took OFF at halftime of the Tenn game. It was just too damn hot to be wearing a shirt at the time.
Can I take credit? I switched back to the old standard swiss cheese, 10 year old Geaux Tigers shirt from the newer model AND went rally cap before every big conversion. I felt like a playmaker.
I'm on the list too... I let my gf hold my football during the first half... I was LAZY! At halftime i took it from her and assumed my proper position directly in front of the tv with the ball in my hands, flipping it every 5 seconds... great comeback...
Superstitions are great! I sat on the couch the entire first half. I didn't sit down once in the 2nd half, and paced the floor during commercials and kept saying "They can't beat us, They won't beat us".
I relied on the trusty halftime shower to wash off the 1st half. Friends, I want to go on record and say that Coach Stacy Searels (With a healthy hate for Alabama) made the game changing hit. Great reporting from Tracy Wolfson to cover the "Whiteboard incident." The O-line was the difference from that point on.
I did the same thing. My wife will not watch the game with me saying that during the game i become another person. Normaly pretty laid back but when the game is on i get a little crazy and hollar and scream and pace. It drives her up the wall. But pacing is how i cope with stress. After the Tenn. game she locked me out of the bedroom and told me to get a life. I have a small t.v. next to the computer. The whole room is dedicated to LSU . Tiger pictures and tiger stuff all over. My cat named " Tiger " comes and sits in my lap while i post on the forum. I will have my lucky purple shirt on for Ole Piss and Arky. Lets get em Tigers. Will be in Florida next weekend during the game. But my shirt will be with me. Should i risk puttting it in my luggage or should i wear it. We fly Wednesday. I think i wear it Wednesday to travel, wash it and have it ready for Sat.
