Spurrior wasn't going to come here. Period. He hates LSU. He hated us when playing. He hated us when he was turned down in 86 by political idiots. He hated us as a coach--that's why he never called off the dogs. Spurrior had to know that there was a possibility Saban would leave before he took the job at USC. But he wasn't coming, so he had no reason to wait. Hopefully, Miles will win big. He's a Tiger now, so I will support him, as long as he and his football teams represent this university with class. I think most of what you say is correct. I really think the real reason Les is leaving is because he thinks it will be easier to get to Michigan from LSU than from OSU. We will have to wait and see. And he covets a national championship. He won't get it at OSU for some years.
