The team features 22 of the nation's top junior prospects and is headlined by a gunslinger from Texas, the next sure thing from the state of Virginia and the best player to come out of New Jersey in five years. If last year's Rivals.com Junior All-America Team is any indication, the players listed below are about to become household names to recruiting fans all over the nation. While this year's list is comprised of the top players from all over the country, the team does have a Southern feel to it. Ten of the players on the list are from states that are considered part of the Southeast, with Florida leading the way with three players. Percy Harvin (Virginia) - WR - 6'1" - 188 - 4.34 - Lists LSU Named the Rivals.com Junior of the Year. Harvin rolled up 475 total yards in Landstown's 47-20 victory over Robinson in the Class AAA, Division 6 title game. Andre Smith (Alabama) - OT - 6'5" - 302 - 4.9 - Lists LSU The top junior in a very good year in the state of Alabama. Already has racked up numerous scholarship offers, and some think he might have been the top player in the state this year. Chaz Washington (Destrehan) - DT - 6'4" - 290 - 5.0 - Lists LSU An all-district and all-area pick as a junior who plays in the same highly competitive district that handed Ryan Perrilloux's team three regular season losses. LSU has offered. Marcus Ball (Georgia) - OLB - 6' - 200 - 4.49 - Lists LSU A first-team all-state pick as a junior after totaling 120 tackles and seven sacks.
