#1 DE in the country from SC, says LSU is a childhood favorite and in the top 3 with the Gamecocks and Gators. Is he a Gator? Haven't heard much about him.
Not sure but I am very happy we are in his early top 3. I have heard that it is going to be hard to pull him away from the home team South Carolina and he has a former teammate or 2 on the roster. Very interesting seeing that people say its between Clemson and South Carolina, although this could point to the notion that he doesnt want to waste an official to those schools.
Hopefully he leaves the state because there has been a lot of buzz about him and LSU from the get go. An excellent visit could put us over the top but I am sure who we have committed at DE around that time will come into play. Hard to imagine him and Rasco both ending up at LSU and I do think we land Rasco.
Why not together, I think they are 2 totally different DEs. I know that is highly unlikely, but Clowney is just a freak of an athlete.
Just saying that it would be hard to convince a top DE to leave the state if he has high interest in the home state schools and we had a 5* DE on board especially if early playing time is a big selling point. I hope that wouldn't scare him off but usually the case with top OOS prospects.
Don't get your hopes up. I heard that Urban Meyer had a vision from heaven that Clowney would go to Florida and my landlord's neice's hairstylist said that Meyer was going on a religious pilgrimage to an unnamed Atlantic seaboard state and was last seen in a restaurant dressed like Moses chanting something about plagues on South Carolina. I don't know what this all means. :huh:.
