Strong rumors going around that 4* prospect is reconsidering his Texas commitment and really likes LSU. Memphisplaya on TOS says it is serious interest. He tried to come last weekend to visit but his HS coach put a stop to it. Something to keep an eye on. 6'2 232 4.65 Rated the #7 MLB on Rivals. So, nothing else on this guy? MLB is wide open next year and this dude is already big enough to step right in and play for Chavis who puts more LBers in the NFL than anyone outside of Happy Valley and The U.
He's been real hush hush about his recruitment, so therefore, literally nobody knows. His HS coach wants him to go to UT...and is a real Mr. Buttinski.
Yup, nobody knows anything at this point. I'm personally not buying he will make the switch on NSD. Something would leak somewhere.
Have the LSU coaches been all over him? You'd think they would be with our DESPERATE need for a talented MLB. If this guy is truly a Tiger fan and is in the fold enough to know that he could come in here and get immediate playing time for a possible championship team within the next few years, play for one of the best LB coaches in THE BEST conference in the nation, then I don't understand why he doesn't just tell his HS coach to shove a pinecone up his ass and straight up F*@$ OFF and then change his commitment to LSU. I HATE it when HS coaches try to get all in a recruit's business when it comes to their college decision. Getting Thompson would do alot to brighten my outlook on this recruiting class. We really need a high quality LB in this class. I hope that the coaches have been doing everything in their power to convince this guy that he needs to be in P&G.
We got him here on an under the radar visit about a month ago. We are on him but he isn't talking about it.
As I said in the other thread, sure would be nice to pull Kendall Thompson and C.J. Johnson I'll take one or the other tho.
Well if you take Thompson by his word he just said he is a 150% committed to Texas. CJ could end up a 5* before all is said and done.
