1. I would imagina playing time is a real easy pitch these days.
  2. *sigh*

I'm not even sure Brissett is the answer at this point or anyone for that matter in 2012.

That will almost surely be a rebuilding year because of QB. I always thought a big difference was made when you were a RS Freshman compared to RS Sophomore. The leap always seemed to be much bigger and the maturity starts to show. I didn't expect Lee to tear it up but at least he'd have two years in the program under his belt. LSU risks a True Freshman or RS Freshman...in the SEC...

We really need a guy who could start immediately in this class with 1 year developing mentally for the playbook. But I'm even sure this class has anyone like that either...
  3. LSU is in it but I don't see us pushing too hard for him given he is a basketball risk. I think he will end up somewhere that will allow him to play both sports. Maybe he decides to focus on football but it would still be a risk.

I expect LSU to target some transfers and maybe even add another QB in the 2011 class.
  4. We are in his final 7.

I still think it would be too risky.
  5. Buzzkill...
  6. Well here is some encouraging news for you.

Some sources in FL are saying that it will be an FSU/LSU battle. I will do some more digging to see what our chances are and if LSU is recruiting him hard.
  7. I gotta tell ya', I just got on Rivals last night to see who was out there and interested in LSU at all. He's the best I came up with. So, assuming he winds up at LSU, I take full credit. If not, I was just throwing his name out there...
  8. Do you think we take a JUCO this year or next year? Its almost a sure thing we either take a transfer or a JUCO. Does this class have any good JUCOs?
  9. I don't think we take a JUCO unless it's Mettenberger. Otherwise, I think we try to get the best QB we can by NSD, and hinge the 2012 hopes on either that person or Rivers.
