In the OP, it says he'll likely take a redshirt. That has to be false? Why would we take a JUCO lineman who isn't ready to play right now in the SEC?
This may be dumb question, but what does OP stand for lol.... I have seen that he has 3 yrs of eligibility to play 2 yrs, so we gonna redshirt him first year. It takes awhile for a player to get acclimated to his new surroundings & to also learn the new difficult scheme LSU runs. We ask a lot out of our OL, so it definitely takes some getting used to. Plus, we are so loaded at OL right now, why not redshirt him? He said he wouldnt mid it, so I say to definitely give him a year to get stronger & learn playbook...
