Published: Jul 1, 2008 - UPDATED: 10:52 a.m. LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri was named the Rivals.com National Coach of the Year today. Mainieri led the Tigers to the College World Series in his second season at LSU. The Tigers set a school record with 23 consecutive wins and finished 49-19-1.
