1. The 3 best returning corners in the nation for the 2004 season will be LSU's Corey Webster, Miami's Antrell Rolle, and Michigan's Marlin Jackson.

Who do you think is the best going into the season and who do you think will be the first corner drafted in the 2005 draft.

Personally, I think Webster is the best corner right now, but I'm not sure who will be the first corner drafted.

P.S. - I know Travis Daniels is good, but he isn't one of the top 3 due to his switching of positions. Hopefully an entire season at corner will change his national appearance.
  2. A real shocker!
  3. Rolle
  4. rolle based on the fact he practically kept Larry Fitzgerald in check and that goes a long way on a resume' although I think Webster has proven it more consistently so I like him better. Gotta remember the best player at any position is influenced by the few teams you actually watch most of the time. There could be one or two better than either of these that just aren't at the major programs receiving the hype or as proven due to the competition. Thats why NFL teams draft the Miami/FSU/OSU/LSU players first when talent is equal or even if they think another guy has more ability. Its safer for many reasons.
  5. Webster

should take the Jim Thorpe award this year for best Defensive Back.

    :champs: :helmet: :champs: :helmet: :champs:
  6. If Mr. Daniels stops dropping them easy INTs this year, watch out, we will have a 3 man race for that trophy with Mr. Rolle and Mr. Webster.
  7. Does anyone know what Webster runs the 40 in?
  8. No.... But it has to be faster than Mississippi State receivers.. :D :D :D
  9. What would NFL scouts say if TD and CWeb combined for 15-20 INT's this season!! Wow!!
  10. If Super Mario learns the D fast enough and is half as good as the hype, and Saban said that he and Wroten had the best spring, we could have one heck of a lot on INT's next season. Plus we will have a touch more speed at free safety roaming back there also.
