USC since the beginning of College football's most hated, has been and will always remain my number one...dont ask why, I JUST DO!! but these next teams, that I've seen this year have truely gotten on my nervs... 1) WVU- he coach complains wayyyy to much!!! Every time LSU got a first down he was on the field crying... let alone when they would run the hurry up offense LSU (as a very smart stratigical move) would have a player act hurt (which didnt hurt us because of the depth)...needless to say the coach was a puddy cat! 2) Alabama- I like Nick and what he does for football teams, but those fans have got to go! They act like they own the BCS and they think they can treat everyone else lower to them. I think we showed them who owns who Nov. 5th :hihi: 3) Arkansas- Good fans, good team, COACH IS A PRICK!!!!! everyone saw what he did on camera and what he said so this one doesnt even need to be said why this team has gotten on my nerves! On the positive side I have grown to RESPECT: 1) Oregon- because they took their loss with dignity and straight out said we were a better team and they gave it their all but just came up short. 2) Western Kent.- That coach seemed like a pretty cool guy, he acted as though whether we lose or lose bad... this game will be a great experience for my players- to play an NFL type calliber team that most guys only dream of playing against because of the compitition. post some teams that you have grown a new dislike for... or even teams you have grown to respect.
New hate--- Alabama: I used to have a level of respect for that program, and like all (most) LSU fans, I was a bit miffed at the way the Saban thing happened. Not that he spurned LSU to go there...he didn't. The way he mouthed off about "his players" in 2006 Sugar Bowl, and moreso the way their fanbase ran with that. I got over that, though, as his players were gone and we kept winning. But this year, after initially beginning to see some respect for Miles from their fanbase, the ridiculous backlash from Nov 5th and the absolute refusal from one single Alabama fan to acknowledge it as an actual loss...to acknowledge the possibility that LSU might be a better team, that did it. They are the biggest bunch of sore losers with a ridiculous sense of entitlement, and they have taken my top spot...FROM AUBURN...who I've held a deep hatred towards for about 20 years. Congrats Bama...you ARE #1. New dislike--- Oregon: No, they did NOT take the loss well, and if you have an XM or Sirius radio, you might should've tuned in prior to their ass whoopin at the hands of USC. They were convinced they deserved a rematch, because they GAVE LSU the game, and THEY are a better team now, because THEIR young players have experience. THEY had a player suspended for our game, so that's why they lost. ***No, this does not go for the whole fanbase, but that's why they don't hold the top spot of new dislike. And GDF, you're OK in my book. I would reply to your messages, but apparently I'm being punished, and can't utilize that feature on Tigerfan. BHelm is working on it. Oh, and the reason I have Oregon's logo to the left is because I was hoping they'd beat the crap outta Auburn last year, and also because...after we DOMINATED them, I wanted them to win the Pac-12. One outta two ain't bad...:hihi:
One other thing...I'll be disappointed if nobody here puts LSU as a team they've grown to respect...because for a couple years, there's been a LOT of disrespect for this team/coaching staff from LSU fans. I hope some acknowledge it in this thread.
To tell you the truth... you are really correct about Oregon... they didnt really take it well... I really just like LaMichael James, because he's the one who said that and took the loss with dignity!
Respect a lot: 1. Oklahoma State (Gundy, overtaking Oklahoma) 2. Wisconsin (Solid program) 3. TCU (Patterson) Hate a lot: 1. Alabama (the fans) 2. USC (Kiffin) 3. Miami (the fans and I live here) Honorable Mention: Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State, Texas
As sad and pathetic as it is, it's still happening. Driving through Baton Rouge today and listening to Buddy Songy and Tommy Krysan radio shows, there are actually people that are STILL bagging on Miles. By far, the topic that was dominating both shows was Miles supposed (mis) treatment of JL. They were saying he should have gotten more playing time on senior day against Ark when the game was out of reach and Miles disrespected him by asking him to take the last snap in garbage time to run out the clock against Ga on Saturday. And while I do agree that he should have gotten more PT in both games when they were out of reach, it certainly doesn't upset me to the point that I'm gonna b!tch about it or second guess Miles. Krysan summed it up best when he said that if he was standing on the corner handing out $100 bills, eventually someone would complain about the shade of green ink. We're 13-0 people and one win away from being one of the greatest teams not just in LSU history, but of ALL TIME. ENJOY IT!!!
Giant Duck Fan, he is a poster here since the start of the season and has sort of grown on us. Not a bad feller once you get past the oregon/obama love that he holds dear. :hihi:
This is sort of what people do. Being up here in Oklahoma I hear it all day everyday. Granted some of it is deserved as far as OU goes (I'm not sure what the hell is going on there) but people are going to complain. I did my share of it during the ole miss debacle. I'm sure there were a few other times but someone asked me at the bedlam game what I thought about miles and my reply was "Really doesn't matter what I think, hard to argue with the result". I then ended up talking to a guy that played for him at OSU that he recruited out of Canada. Miles is a pretty good dude.
