Hadn't really followed the story, but I'm guessing because "No news is good news" this would be a good hire for us??

His age is a little concern but he is an excellent coach with an excellent resume in womens basketball. If he is still able to recruit he could be the difference between the final four and a championship. Great hire IMO.
Chancellor in town today. Link I posted this in a LSU News link but I think everyone probably ignores those. Just found this statement a little odd for the article considering nothing has been announced yet.
Looks like a good hire to me, assuming he has no "interest" in any of the players, former or current.
how old is this dude? like low 60's? why does he sound 80? i know 60 yr olds that are a younggggggggg 60 and look and sound mid-40s. this wont help his recruiting. Better get a nice young lickety split to help on this front.
I doubt LSU expects him to stay more than 2 or 3 years, by which time they will have his successor lined up. Meanwhile we have a loaded team coming off four straight final fours and returning every player. This team meeds an experienced winner to take them past the semi-finals and Chancellor gets a change to coach again without having to rebuild.
