With Ford running a 4.69 Forty twice (at the combine in N.O) and Pratt at almost 230 lbs., could we deperately need a speed back with great cutting ability this year?

We're going to be fine with Ford. He got a bad start on both of those runs and the track is allegedly slow. We don't need a third back in this class per say but will probably take one if Richardson, Christine Michael or Lonnie Pryor commit to this class.

Ford's never going to be a great 40 runner because he starts slow, but a RB has time to build up speed before taking the handoff & going into full speed. He'll be fine.

    Pratt runs a sub 4.6 at 230lbs, the guy's a beast.

I think we may take a scat back, but it is far from a necessity in this class.

Murphy is ours for at least two more years, and he's the epitome of a "speed back".
