We got 5 weeks to speculate ponder guess and bitch about the next HC choice. For LSU fans who love the rumors and drama this is a month long wet dream.
In the meantime , something to ponder. Does it take 7 wins to get a bowl game ? Did they rescind the 6 win rule?
Anyhoo — does this team really want to spend an extra 3 weeks of practice to go to a meaningless bowl game with the current or lack thereof coach situation?
Wouldn’t be surprised if one of the guys walks in the weight room in next couple weeks and says
‘Hey fellas , I just realized something .....’

This is Orgeron's last great recruiting opportunity. I think he is going to do everything he can to hold it together.

I think Orgeron is sincere in wanting to do the best for LSU, but there is also additional incentive. Orgeron has to keep Woodward happy. He can't just think he takes his 17mil with not further responsibilities. There are still lawsuits and a lot of investigations going on so he wants to keep LSU on his side as much as possible. He definitely can't afford for the relationship to turn adversarial.
