Can anyone remember opening against an OOC oppponent of this quality with national title hopes on a bigger stage?? This has to be one of, or at least have the potential to be one of the biggest openers in LSU history. LSU!
when we got our asses handed to us? man I remember that. That was a bitter pill to swallow but I'm not sure that is anywhere close to this one.

So basically it has been a long time since we opened with a Game of this magnitude when the program was at the level it is now
This is the biggest season opener in about 25-30+ years. Both teams will be top 5+ , this game is considered the best non-conference game of the year for ALL non-conference games in 2011. Geaux Tigers!!!!
Not only is this a huge first game of the season, it could be the biggest out of conference match up of the entire regular season.
