Ray was the best R&B performer in my lifetime. He could perform a song unlike any other artist. I had the good fortune to see him in a live performance many years ago.

You could tell how much old Ray loved singing a patriotic song in Yankee Stadium shortly after the goat fuckers knocked the Twin Towers down. I don't think he would approve of what's going on now.
