Tonight, the women's team played Alabama, and drew a crowd of 5,129.
Last night, the men played host to Ohio State, and drew a crowd of 6,416.

Which is more impressive to you?

Which is more pathetic to you?

Which coach has more job security?

You couldn't come up with a better third question than that? :)

Just thought I'd smack the BBMLB in the eye with some cold, hard realizations...The actual attendance for the men's game was silly...and Hawthorne I heard mentioned it directly (I was out of my truck by the time the 2nd OT was on)...

I think its pretty impressive that the women could get 5,000+ fans for a game against Alabama. Women's basketball is not a popular sport. You never see it on ESPN and if you do its pretty rare. Men's basketball however, is a very popular sport and at one point LSU basketball was more important than LSU football. I think its more impressive for the women to be able to get all these fans for a home game, especially against a decent Alabama team.

You don't think when we had Shaq and Chris Jackson LSU basketball wasn't big?

Didn't Skip say that Brady was increasing attendance numbers? That seems hard to believe.

It was huge. Just not bigger than football.
