-Notre Dame.........Notre Dame. Will they win is no longer the question- it’s, “Will their offense SCORE A TOUCHDOWN?? Hell, positive yardage would be a step forward. -UCF almost upset Texas so with Auburn losing to South Florida, they may not be as weak as I first thought.......oh, wait, they lost to MISS. STATE! OMG......I think I’ll have to light a cuban on that one. -Arkansas......Nutt and Dick are meant to be together. -Alabama........Saban is winning with Shula’s recruits. -The SEC and the Pac have something in common- they each have two and ½ teams. -StaceyO was right, Oklahoma runs through their conference pretty easily. -Florida is better than I thought but there defense is not close to ours. -LSU ROCKS! Add any things I’m missing.......what say you?
GameCock Fans on ESPN.com are trying to sike themselves up for Sat game in DeathValley...They are posting stuff like... "Hey, don't sell us too short against LSU, crazier things have happened. We have a pretty stoud defense and I haven't seen LSU play a quality opponent this season." ....Huh? or this sweet one "The Gamecocks will either shame LSU by playing a close game or by defeating them." They must not have ESPN game plan in South Carolina, therefore such as. If they did, they would see LSU dominate MSU (who beat Auburn), dominate VT, dominate MTSU who hung 555 yards on Louisville...by the way, MTSU gashed us for 7 yards rushing, and 82 yards passing.
The talking heads at THE network were all about SC. I understand they did demolish Neb. but it was a game going into the third. Their defense is NOWHERE near the Tiger D. Our bench still keeps the other team out of scoring range. Compare Offenses: close, with SC maybe a smidge better, MAYBE. Missing Starting QB/WR, still put 44 on the scoreboard. Defense: not even close. How does SC "easily" get to be #1. LSU barely gets recognized. I am less worried about 'Bama/Kentucky and their "D"s. Its what separates us and FLA, too. Tigers work hard=easy wins.
You answered your own question... because they are SC. no one wants LSU to have it easy.. but it makes it so much sweeter!
SEC Suprises/Questions after three games -- SEC Surprises/Questions after three games --- Has Tennessee given up on the season already? Mississippi coaching troubles – I thought it would be Coach Croom getting the boot, but it looks like Coach Oh No is the front runner – I wondered about the Arkansas offense without Monk, but now I wonder if they have a defense – I thought South Carolina would be pretty good –they hold Georgia to 12 between the hedges – was it just an emotional win or will they contend for the SEC East? Is Coach Nutt still sending text messages to that reporter in Fort Smith – if so, I wonder what the messages were about during halftime of the Alabama game? Is Florida running up the score when their games are well in hand or are their subs also that good? Where are the ND fans who thanked Florida for taking Urban Meyer so they could get that offensive wizard, Charlie Weis? Are Kentucky and Vanderbilt both going bowling this year? After the VT game, there is no longer any doubt in my mind about Matt Flynn being LSU’s no. 1 QB (if there ever really was any doubt)- Surprisingly, New MexicoState at Auburn and ArkansasState at Tennessee now look to be interesting games this weekend - :geauxtige
To all the Gamecock fans who are saying we have not played any body yet I have some bad news. If we give the Cock's a beat down, guess what everyone is going to say? LSU still hasn't played anyone. Florida's the one!
