LSU just lost by one point on the road to a ranked conference opponent, while having a redshirt freshman QB play most of the game. There's no need for a meltdown here. Fact is, after seeing Georgia the last 2 weeks, I'm still confident the Tigers can win in Athens and Gainesville. At least they will certainly have a chance to win those games. After that, the schedule is pretty clear. We're still looking at 10-1, or 9-2 here. At worst 8-3. Take away last season, and tell me no one would be happy with that considering JaMarcus' on the job training this year. One thing is crystal clear--JaMarcus WILL be the man, either this year or next, but he will fulfill all the promise his talent offers. He made freshman mistakes today, and still nearly drove for the winning score. Be patient--you didn't really think the Tigers would be 11-0 this year, did you? :lsug: :geaux:

    By the way,

congrats to Auburn. They did what they had to do when it counted. We'll see you next year!

i said we would be 7-3 or 8-2 so I think your perspective is correct.
Alot of people around here thought we would go undefeated with new QB's and WR's.

I'm not so sure we can win in Gainesville, I think Florida will be good this year.
I think we have a chance at Athens with the way Georgia looked lately.
    HOWEVER
We will have to play much better all away around to have a chance to win at either place, I don't think it will be a "sure thing" or very easy under any circumstances.

One thing is certain...at this point of the season, there is NO dominant team in the SEC. LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee all look like they are about at the same level. Two conference losses could win you a division this year.
