.................what you guys think of Les Miles? Most Sooners are glad he is gone. The OSU Cowboys focus on getting 1 win a year..........against OU. I think OSU will drop back to their usual mediocre ways when they name Gundy head coach.

I hate to say it but I think you guys are in a no win situation. If, and this is a big if, Miles does well at LSU, he will bolt for Michigan the second Carr steps down, which might be soon. If Miles is his usual self LSU will win 1 big game they are supposed to lose about every 2 years but lose 2 or 3 they are supposed to win easily in that same time period.

    Thoughts?

We'd like to see OSU beat OU next year.

I'm tired of OU being King of Oklahoma. I'd really like to see the Ok St Cowboys beat your Sooners in 2005.

    Thoughts?

Just browse through the first couple of pages, it's obvious how we feel.

I don't think Michigan wants him.

I actually agree with you about a no win situation.
If he doesn't win he will be gone in 3 years.

If he is successful and does win then his stock will go up like Sabans and being a Michigan alumni he probably will replace Carr if he doesn't get offered
an NFL job instead, he's been there before but I know it was only a TE coach.

This is why I'm kinda critical of the timing and hiring of him, really wish they
would've waited and interviewed some NFL coaches tomorrow.
    Whats a couple of days?

Having said that I will support whoever coaches our team and hope for the best.

Hey guys I didn't mean it as a slam.

As far as I know Stoops is still here. He has turned down Florida twice. Everyone knows Michigan is Miles dream job.

OSU has beaten OU...............too often recently.

As far as recruiting goes OSU has picked up some good players but I don't know if it was Miles or one of his assistants.

Unless you were hiding under a rock, everyone in world thought Stoops' dream job was back at Florida. Miles will fall love with Baton Rouge, I just don't know if Baton Rouge will fall in love with him. The jury is still out on that.

I understand but there is a big difference. Stoops just coached at Florida, Miles played FB and went to school at Michigan. Personally I think LSU is a better job than Michigan and has a better base to recruit from.
