I heard about this last week over at ITAT. What was his playing weight, I understand he is pushing 250 now.
Tough to say, this link puts him at "two-fitty" ( http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticl...64&DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174960&Q_SEASON=2006 ) which I'm sure he has weighed in at times. However, I pretty he's played in the 230's. Anyhow, certainly wish him well.
knee injuries are very tough to overcome, and I don't just mean in the physical sense. Good luck to AB, he did a good job for LSU and I hope he prospers :thumb:
That's what I was thinking. I wish him well anyway. Does he get to play this year or will he have to sit out until next year? Might give him an extra year to complete his degree.
It's probably more like coaches told him he'd never play or have a chance to beat out the guys on the team and he decided to make a last run at the NFL at a smaller school (ie nall).
NA isn't D-1A so he can play this season. But, I wish him all the best. Sure would have been nice to have an LSU degree, but he may thrive and get to the NFL through NA.
LSU will always be here. he's only one semester away from graduating. I suspect the differences between Broussard and Les went beyond his injury and his weight.
So much for that whole focusing on school and graduating thing, I guess. We should have seen this coming. But I still want him to tear it up over there.
