Aggravating Some Georgia fans are claiming we are "stealing" the title shot from them... Ya know, the same thing happened to us last year. We were probably the best playing team last year at season's end and we didn't make it to the SECCG.. I could be wrong, but I don't seem to remember us crying and making a huge stink about not getting a shot at the title... Maybe my memory is bad... I don't know. Oh well.. there could be worse things to be annoyed by today.
Their crying doesn't bother me in the least. If they wanted to be there, they should've beaten USCe and/or Tenn.
Of course some GA fans are complaining, just like some LSU fans were complaining last year, just like some LSU fans still complain about our coach, our team, our players, our performance, and every other thing they can complain about. But all in all, I believe that the majority GA fans, like the majority of LSU fans last year, are reasonable, sane, normal people who understand that if you can't even win the SEC, then you shouldn't be allowed to play for the NC. Georgia had their chance against Tennessee, and they got beat down 35-14. But yes, I agree with your overall point, that listening to people complain is aggravating.
No reason to sweat it. They are just angry, but they have no reason to be angry at all. All you have to do is remind them that they didn't win their Conference, let alone their DIVISION and the discussion really should end there. Anything else is just chaffe, dude. UGA is irrelevant. I would tell any UGA fan "good luck against Hawaii in the Sugar and represent the SEC well." And then leave it at that. BTW, we are going to see so much hate this time around. If you thought 2003 was bad, you ain't seen nothing. I am just going to tune that out. Every team left out will have a complaint. I was a firm believer that if we got left out, our complaints would have been the biggest and most egregious. Looks like the voters are getting it right this time. :thumb:
I'd love Ga to end up in the Rosa against USC... That would be an awesome game.. "they" said last night it was possible but "they" also said Miles to UM yesterday... what a year!
If you don't win your conference, you don't deserve a shot at the NC. How can you be the best team in the country when you aren't the best team in your conference?
