I have never held myself out to be an expert in football, and, if I am wrong, please correct me, but I think it is pretty near impossible to win a game when your opponent scores a greater number of touchdowns than you do field goals. A&M wasn't going to win the game, but why the heck would you go for a field goal, even if it is fourth and four, when you are on Alabama's eight yard line? Like the three points are going to make a difference....
