1. Alleva got the biggest applause of the night when he talked about other changes happening around LSU: upgrades to the facilities. He said one of the main goals of the south stadium expansion of Tiger Stadium is to make the facility less friendly to the opposing fans.

"There's 1,500 seats that are going to be at the very, very top, close to Pluto," he joked. "We're going to move the visiting team up there. That'll free up seats in the bowl for our fans to take advantage of those seats."

  2. What kind of seats do visiting fans get in other SEC stadiums?
  3. From what I understand, pretty much what Alleva wants us to do. Spread them out so that you don't have what we have now in TS, which is a large mob of opposing fans hovering directly over the south end zone making more noise than they should be able to.
  4. LSU and Auburn were pretty much the last SEC stadiums to sit visitors all together in good seats in the lower bowl. LSU has been taking some visitor seats and moving them to the upper deck with both of the last stadium expansions. Now they are doing it again, so there will likely be much less visitor seating in the lower bowl. Other SEC teams separate and seat visitors all around the stadium. Alabama is the worst at separating visitors into small scattered sections and diluting their cheering.
  5. All's fair in love hate and war
  6. IIRC, at Bama the fans sit in the lower bowl in the corners...
  7. Heres to home team advantage.
  8. And also in the upper decks.
  9. I had a map of each stadiums' visitor seating. If I didn't delete it, it's on my computer at home. Here's Neyland's.

Would be a great sticky thread to have for each SEC stadium- perhaps in the Ticket Forum.
  10. i hate this. split up the visitors but dont make give them bad seats. i dont want to be treated this way at other places.
