LSU junior running back Alley Broussard returned to practice Tuesday, dismissing Internet reports that he had quit the team. Broussard did not play against Kentucky Saturday night, the second game in which he didn't see action. A source close to the football team said Broussard was held out for being late for a meeting Friday before the game against the Wildcats. -- New Orleans Times-Picayune Here is the link: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/scorecard/10/18/truth.rumors.college/index.html
Glad he is still on the team. Now that this mystery has been solved anyone have any thoughts about the Loch Ness Monster ?
Saw the lochness monster eat a small dog yesterday. I had my video camera with me but the battery ran out. What are the odds!
If this is all true then who says Miles is soft? not me that's for sure. I probably would have cut the kid a break on being late unless he was consistantly late. I mean he is late, he coulda been mugged or had a flat or something. You never know. Yeah I probably wouldn't have kept him from playing over being late once. But then again I don't know the full story. Sure doesn't sound like Miles is soft to me though.
But since he was punished, I'm gonna say that it wasn't due to flat tire or mugging. And c'mon! Who in their right mind would try to mug Alley???!!? And with the joke of a punishment as what Coker handed his thug players that were involved in the brawl, I actually applaud it when a coach punishes a player for lesser things.
