heres why we'll lose today: lsu has lost 3 straight sec openers, lsu has lost 5 straight on jp, and are 3-10-1 all time on jp, lsu is 10-19-2 in sept. tv games, and 1-3-1 in sept. day home tv games, the last time lsu played state the 4th game of the yr, in 44, lsu lost, saban is 0-2 in sec openers. if we do lose, then count on no bowl game. here's why: no lsu team has lost to state in tiger stadium and still managed a bowl game, when lsu has opened its season on tv with a loss, their total record on tv from those years is 7-25-1. with all this working against us, i fail to see how the tigers will win today.
