more changes for postgame traffic Of course, since there will be 2x/8x less people at the game, we wont know if this will be a better plan until the SC game.
We did not tailgate this past weekend. Left here (Siegen @ Highland) at 4:45 and we pulled into parking spot at about 7:00. Parked in the grass lots by golf course and dairy farm. What was amazing to see was that people were parked all the way to Lee Drive on Highland, Burbank, & Nicholson! It took us about 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot and onto River Road. Form there, it was not too bad. Took about an hour total to get home. Takes me 30 minutes to make that drive home from campus after work. All in all not too bad imo. Considering the amount of people that were there for this game!
BRPD is clueless. Left a game last year and everything was open outbound on campus from s. stadium, across highland, all the way to LSU Ave but traffic was still not moving. A BRPD moron had the light at Perkins cycling normal: 10-15 cars each cycle moving east/west/southbound but 40,000 people sitting bumper-to-bumper on Stanford trying to move north:angryfire I don't know if Perkins/Stanford is better now but moving south to where LSP and EBRSO run things should prove to be easier. It was announced prior to the Va Tech game that southbound traffic was being routed to Nicholson instead of Burbank, how did that go?
