1. "We hit the quarterback something like 218 times last year," Saban said.

In 14 games, that averages out to more than 15 times a game. You figure that a QB went back to pass about 30 or so times a game, that averages out to right at 50 percent of the time the QB getting hit. Damn!
  2. I just hope all LSU fans relish what they see this year on defense, just as they hopefully did last year. This will be the 2 most dominating years of defense back to back that you will ever witness in college football.

It all starts and ends with 2 guys named Webster and Daniels. They are solely responsible for making the essence of Saban's defense work exactly as scripted. Without single coverage on the wideouts, the defense cannot successfully be aggressive all game long as the LSU defense is.

Enjoy it this year. Really enjoy it. There will never be a better pair of DBs at LSU. The defense will never be as dominating as they will be these 2 years.
  3. Which player will call the signals on defense this year?
  4. LMAO!!!
  5. My guess is it goes from Landry, through Turner to the rest, and Spears will be directing the line.
  6. I was laughing at the pic...not the question by the way. :)
