He was the lead story on the NBA draft portion of Sportscenter last night, pretty cool. 66 underclassmen have declared and only 60 total guys will be drafted.
Not sure if it was bad advice or pressure to go out and get a bunch of money quickly. None of us know who was putting what pressure on Brandon of course but it wouldn't surprise me if he was under an unbelieveable amount. They most likely looked at the $1.5 mill or so he could sign for in Europe for as a good alternative. Just guessing though.
In other news, John Brady has said that he is willing to talk with the Celtics about a potential coaching opportunity.
Bass will be ok. The money is good. Out of 66 players and 60 spots I believe some of them are getting some poor advice.
I'm not so sure this kid do all the right thing. - Have he sits down and talks to c. Brady about joining the team as a full time starter? He should have asked c. Brady to redesign the offense to fit his playing style. - Called a press conference with his parent to annouce his intention to enter the NBA draft. - I hope he did not sign an agent so that if he does not get draft, he can always come back to play basketball in college. - He should have contacted Vandy about a Basketball Scholarship. This one belongs to one of the most hilarious story related to the NBA draft fiasco.
