1. New Orleans and adjacent parishes are under a Tropical Storm warning. The weather that will hit them in the early afternoon will hit Baton Rouge in the late afternoon, early evening.

Any chance the game will be postponed or cancelled? Who decides? By when?
  2. anythings possible,but I hope not,man that would suck!
  3. I think the projected path is off. It's still moving NW and it's that close to Florida, I have a hard time buying it's going to about face, go straight west and come here. If we get rain, it should be Tropical Depression strength at most.
  4. There was a radio report that said the game might be moved to 11:00, but there is nothing on the LSU website. I doubt if CBS could handle such a move.
  5. Neither could most LSU fans. This isn't the Big 10.
  6. IT'S DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL!!!! IT'S THE SEC!!!! IT AIN'T INTRAMURALS!

    Rain or Shine!

  7. Thank you Mr. Hawkins.
  8. Ok, guys, stand back. I'll take care of this one:

IT NEVER RAINS IN TIGER STADIUM!!!
  9. But not lightning! I don't mind sitting through a deluge if they are playing football, but sitting through that deluge during an hour of lightning rain delay is for the birds.
  10. I was at the season opener in 2004 vs. Oregon State. That was a friggin deluge! The kickoff was postponed by an hour or so. Tigers played like crumbs, too. Won only because the Beaver kicker missed two extra points. It was the debut of Jamarcus, though. So that was cool.

I wonder how the slop will affect Matt's tender ankle.
