Why the rush to fill the spot on the schedule? Wouldn't it be better if we take our time to find the right team to fill it and not simply rush right out and schedule the first team that comes along to simply make us fans happy?

Oh, wait... Thats the the line we are supposed to use when talking about the remainder of the coaching staff.

All joking aside, I wouldn't mind seeing one of the Big East teams. Seems like most are looking to fill the non-conference spots. But if I were betting, I'd say it would be one of the La. directional schools.

The young morning radio guy on 1210am in Baton Rouge was interviewing someone from the LSU Athletic Dept. this morning (I can't remember a friggin name). I believe it was said that a deal could be cut with a I-A team any day now.

Wow, I thought this post would be informative until I finally got it out:dis:, sorry guys. Did anyone else hear that show this morning?

I just hope we don't go the Citadel-type route even though it may come down to that....

I'm 99% sure it will not be a D-1AA team or a UL-Pick Your Direction/Town team. I hop it's not another Sunbelt dog. UNT is enough. C-USA is playing with their conference schedule for 2005, it just might be UCF/ECU type team.
