Any updates re: Butch Pierre and UTEP?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything new on whether or not CBP has interest in the head-coaching vacancy at UTEP? Obviously Coach Pierre would make an EXCELLENT head coach somewhere, but LSU's success really seems to have benefited from a great assistant coaching staff-- no knock against Brady, but it does help having great assistants...

Well that's good news for LSU, even though CBP will make a damn good HC one day...
