They were supposed to announce last Friday and did saying it was going to be 1AA Western Illinois but a couple of minutes later retracted that statement. They were still trying to get a 1A team to come here. LSU then said they would announce Monday but nothing. It is Tuesday at 6:00 and still no word. Whats the deal. I hear it is down to San Jose State of the WAC and 1AA Western Illinois. Does anybody know what was going on?
Don't know whats going on but I sure hope it is San Jose St. I mean yah they suck, but atleast they suck on the D1 level!
I really hope its at least SJST...They are not great, but better than Western Illinios. I say we just deal with whoever they put in that spot and then hope for a contract next year with another team.
