I never could stand Brent Muffberger, always a suck-up to whatever's "hot". Late in the Cal-Tenn game, when it's clear Cal will win, Muffy says "first question I'll ask Les Miles is what he thinks of the Pac 10 NOW". Hey Muffy, Tenn pwned Cal last year, and Cal has made this game their whole season. Tenn hung with them til the end, gave up some big plays. What do I think of the Pac 10 now? No difference, Pac 1, no defense.

Muffy decided to go further, saying the Pac 10 plays a round robin! Yeah, they play all the crappy teams. He left out that they HAVE NO CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! Ok I've vented.

dummy me used here instead of hear......aaaagggghhhhhhhh

I knew that would come up. Thanks, Tennessee, for not fielding a defense or a decent special teams return defense.

who cares about tenn losing though? that's the point.

they're rebuilding this year. plus they whipped the crap out of cal last year and so clearly cal was going to avenge that at their home stadium this year.

in no way does this game show that the pac 10 is on par with the sec. 3 ranked teams versus 6. i don't care if you play round robin when all that means is you'll face - at the most - two ranked teams.

we have to play two ranked teams in our division alone. not to mention the ooc schedule we have. and the teams we have to play from the east. with that bullcrap round robin stuff that leaves only three ooc games a year.

no way in hell does this show anything but monsieur burger's ridiculous bias.

Brent said it in the first half too and if you think Cal's goal is anything less than winning the Pac, you're inncorrect. BTW, "All those crappy teams", one of them just beat one of ours and hung 45 on 'em- be real. :thumb:

Cal's D and speed looked very, er, dare I say...SEC esque? They look good...Maybe it's the Pac-2...but that's all I give 'em. When I say Cal's D, I am talking about up front. Their secondary got picked apart by Ainge, but TN could get NOTHING going on the ground. TN looks to be hurting...as does Auburn.

He called out Miles at least 5 times during the game.

Cal is for real this year no doubt. Sure wish we still had Hawkins, he looked great for them. We could use another experienced receiver.

Well we'll see how many PAC-10 teams make it to bowl games and what their records are at the end of the season.

Is it me or did the Trojans not look that dominant. I mean they were playing Idaho. Figured the score would be 70-0 listening to all the media hype this team.

The defense gave up 10 pts, had no sacks and no ints. Does this sound like the "best" defense in the nation? :dis:
