we are not going to the sugar bowl, no matter what. The BCS title game is the 5th game. Loser of Nov 5 likely goes to rose bowl. Sugar will be at large as SEC #1 will be in BCS title game.
Talking to a Sugar Bowl Committee member at the AU game and that's not what he saw happening. Lot's of different scenarios left to play out, but I wouldn't rule the Bama/LSU loser out of the Sugar just yet. I'm just not sure why an LSU fan would want to go watch Bama play in the Sugar Bowl though.

I thought that the SEC could not represent more than two BCS games. So the NC and the Sugar would be the two most likely scenerios.
Presuming that whichever SEC team that makes it to the championship game is ranked BCS #1, the Sugar Bowl gets first pick of any bowl to make up for that team. I can't imagine the Sugar Bowl picking any team other than LSU or Alabama, whichever is not in the championship game. Unfortunately, the Sugar Bowl also picks last for the second team, so that will probably be Boise, presuming they are undefeated but not in the championship game.
I think this is great, and I hope it comes true. I want Boise crushed on national TV by an SEC powerhouse. It is time to avenge UGA's miserable loss, and show the nation what Boise is really made of.
The defenses of both LSU and Bama would crush the little QB from Boise... the Broncos better hope to get another meeting against Coach Oops.
